Twelve years ago, after my sons kept badgering me to get on Email, I fearfully purchased my first Apple computer, one of the earlier MacIntosh computers. By the time I did get to it, they weren’t much using email.
Although Social Media – Facebook and Twitter have somewhat replaced the need to email in many cases, it still becomes important in keeping up.
Thought the social notes, family updates, courses and the like can be handled by Social Media for those using it, there are those who do not. Email is access to receipts for purchases on the web, confirmations of registrations for programs and so much more.
